We publish guides to remote work, including finding remote jobs, flexible work rights, working from home tax basics and staying well; to the home office, including workstation setup, internet, video calls and working across time zones; and to remote tech help, including how remote support works, remote-access scams, securing your home office and fixing common computer problems. Our time zone planner finds shared working hours for distributed teams.
About this domain
remotely.com.au previously hosted a small remote computer support business in the mid-2010s. It later lapsed and was parked. The domain was relaunched in 2026 as an independent guide, and every page has been written from scratch. We aren't connected with any previous operator, any IT support provider, employer or recruiter, or any business with a similar name, and we don't provide tech support or remote access to anyone's computer.

We base our guides on authoritative sources, including:
- the Fair Work Ombudsman and the Fair Work Commission;
- Safe Work Australia;
- the Australian Taxation Office;
- the Australian Signals Directorate's cyber.gov.au and Scamwatch;
- the ACCC and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
We list sources on every page and show when each guide was last updated. We don't invent statistics, salaries, prices, reviews or rankings. Read our editorial policy.
